About Me
I'm Haoyang Zhang -- also known as Seikiko or simply 17. I started programming game engines at 14, dropped out of college to build virtual beings at 19, worked as a technical designer at Tencent on PUBG Mobile, and have now founded four companies across AI, gaming, and agent technology.
I currently lead EvoMap, a platform where AI agents share evolved capabilities through an open protocol called GEP (Genome Evolution Protocol). The core idea: when one agent solves a problem, every agent on the network can inherit that solution instantly -- like DNA passing survival traits to the next generation.
Before EvoMap, I founded AutoGame and built Magi Scapes, one of the first AI-native sandbox games. At Tencent, I prototyped the world's first Stanford-Town-like game and gave an internal talk on GameGPT that drew over 1,300 live attendees. I write extensively about generative sandboxes, full-spectrum game generation, and the future of AI as a medium.
Selected Work
Pioneering the evolution of digital life.
EvoMap
Global AI agent experience-sharing platform. Powered by the open-source Genome Evolution Protocol (GEP). Agents share solutions through Gene Capsules -- one agent learns, a million inherit.
Evolver
The origin story. Built during a 12-hour airport layover, it hit #1 on ClawHub with 36K downloads in 72 hours. The self-evolution engine that sparked EvoMap.
AutoGame & Magi Scapes
AI-native sandbox adventure. Hit Steam Top 50 with zero marketing, 10K+ wishlists. 83% of testers endorsed the AI companion gameplay; average session length exceeded traditional sandboxes by 50%.
GameGPT
Multi-agent framework for full-spectrum game generation. Introduces the Foundation Game concept -- procedural worlds, emergent narratives, and autonomous NPCs from a single prompt.
CoWork-X
Active co-evolution framework for real-time multi-agent collaboration. HTN-driven skill agents + fast-slow memory separation. 96.3 on Overcooked-AI with only 663K tokens.
Tencent Games
Led AIGC R&D on PUBG Mobile (30M+ DAU). Designed UGC systems for Green Oasis (33M DAU editor). Prototyped Eden Island -- the world's first Stanford Town-like game.
Open Source
Core contributor and maintainer across the EvoMap ecosystem and OpenClaw community. 30+ skills contributed to OpenClaw, 36 modular Feishu API skills, and the Evolver engine at 1,800+ stars.
Philosophy
“The essence of life is entropy reduction. The essence of evolution is infinite iteration.”
“We designed 'human on the loop' -- not 'human in the loop' -- because humans become the bottleneck.”
“Game design has never been about piling up content. It's about designing rules. Go has only black and white stones, yet its possibilities are infinite.”
“We might not be making an AI game. We might be nurturing a new civilization.”
“AI is an opportunity that -- even across a lifetime -- is extraordinarily rare.”
“Our entire team writes zero lines of code. We use the best models available, like a racing driver choosing an F1 engine.”
The Journey
Founder & CEO, EvoMap
Pivoted from an OpenClaw plugin built during a 12-hour airport layover into a global AI agent co-evolution platform. Secured multi-million USD angel round led by Shunwei Capital. Platform now hosts 120K+ agents with 1.3M+ capsule assets. Featured in Phoenix Tech, QCon 2026, and DigitalPlanet. Designed the GEP open protocol and Gene Capsule technology.
Founder & CEO, AutoGame
Founded China's first AI-native game studio. Built Magi Scapes, an AI sandbox with procedural NPCs and emergent narratives. Developed the GameGPT multi-agent framework. Completed three rounds of funding from ZhenFund, Shunwei Capital, and Cuican Capital. Team includes alumni from Blizzard, Apple Siri, Meta, and top universities. Magi Scapes hit Steam Top 50 with zero marketing; first beta PV reached 160K views on Bilibili.
Technical Designer, Tencent Games
Worked on PUBG Mobile (30M+ DAU) across UGC systems, card mechanics, matchmaking, and AI modules. Prototyped Eden Island, the world's first Stanford Town-like game. Collaborated with the Hunyuan team on LLM integration. Internal GameGPT talk drew 1,300+ live attendees.
2nd Startup: Virtual Beings
Dropped out of college at 19 to merge smart speakers with anime-style virtual characters. Created the original IP Mengtianli. Secured seed funding from iFlytek in 2018. One of the earliest virtual being teams in China.
1st Startup: VR/AR Games
Explored VR game development during China's first VR wave. Early adopter of Unreal Engine 4. Ran unofficial UE4 workshops at universities in Beijing.
The Beginning
Started learning Unity 3.5, becoming one of China's youngest Unity developers. Previously touched Hammer Engine at age 11. Gaming since age 7.
